Truancy focuses specifically on unexcused absences-a student is considered truant after 5 unexcused absences or 5 tardies in a single semester.

Chronic Absence looks at the whole picture-missing 10% or more of the school year for any reason, including excused absences and unexcused absences!

🩸 MACA BLOOD DRIVE — TOMORROW! 🩸 Our LifeShare Blood Drive is happening Thursday, October 29, and we’re encouraging our students, parents, and families to come out and support this important cause! 🌿 Last week, Mr. Preston’s class got hands-on with science by using organism cards to build their own food webs! 🐛🦅 Students explored how living things are connected and depend on one another in an ecosystem. 🌎🔬
